Last Tuesday (14), Gerard Piqué decided to break the silence and commented for the first time on the song “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53″, which openly criticizes various periods of the former couple’s relationship. In an interview for the “El Món” program, the athlete also spoke about his personal and professional life and his relationship with his children Milan, aged 10, and Sasha, aged eight.

“Yes, obviously. I don’t want to talk about it (…). People have responsibilities, especially us who are parents, we must try to protect our children. I don’t want to say more, everyone makes the appropriate decisions. I don’t want to talk about the problem anymore, all I want is for them to be fine”, said Piqué when asked about Shakira’s world hit.

During the chat, the player explained that he is in a happy moment, although he has experienced troubled moments in the face of the separation: “When we grow up, there is no lesson that tells us how to be and not be a father or mother. Each one does what they can. I’m fine, very happy and willing to continue doing things. I always had a close relationship with my children and I like them to participate in things that make them happy”.

Recently, there were rumors that Piqué’s visit to his children would only be allowed if the player was alone, without his current girlfriend and separation pivot from his long-term marriage, Clara Chía. Shakira’s song in partnership with Bizarrap is a worldwide success and recently received 14 Guinness Book commemorative plaques for having broken records.
