“Verstappen is superior to everyone at the moment. Overall, he’s been excellent. I think what we’re witnessing with Max right now is something you only see once in a generation. I think that, like all great drivers, he has an extra capacity. He’s at the top of his game,” Red Bull Race boss Christian Horner said in an interview.

After the last match on Sunday (30th), the drivers entered the break period, returning to activities at the end of August for the next Grand Prix, in Zandvoort, Holland, the 13th stage of this year’s season.

Previously, with the announcement of changes to the Formula 1 calendar for next year, with the total number of 24 races and six sprint categories that will be spread across the globe, Max Verstappen criticized the decision for considering the number of matches too high and requiring a lot of preparation and considered stepping away from the sport.

“It’s a lot for me, but we have to deal with it. I think it’s at least more logical the way it’s planned. It’s the best for everyone. There are more things that need to happen for me to be sure if I want to stay a long time or not, but this is not helping, it is a certainty”, said the pilot.
