Michel Hessmann will have the opportunity to appeal the measure when the investigation is finalized. According to the World Anti-Doping Agency, if the cyclist fails to explain why the substance was found in the tests, he could be punished for four years.

Before the announcement, according to the Wielerflits website, the athlete was confirmed to participate in the BEMER Cyclassics World Tour competition, in Hamburg, Germany, which would take place next Sunday (20). So far the cyclist has not positioned himself on the news.
