Now, Pogba’s suspension could initially be for two years. It would extend to four years if it was proven that the player intended to dope.

Pogba did not play in the match against Udinese, in the first round of the Italian Championship, but he was still selected for a doping test.

It is worth remembering that the player has been suffering from physical problems for at least a year, when he returned to Juventus. In the current season, he played two games, none of them as a starter, totaling just 52 minutes on the pitch.

According to information from the Italian newspaper “Gazzetta dello Sport”, Juventus is considering terminating the athlete’s contract, valid until 2026, unilaterally, but should only do so at the end of the season in order not to lose tax benefits. Since the preventive suspension, Pogba has only been receiving the union minimum.
