The Lakers center reached an unprecedented milestone in the NBA: he was the first player in history to score more than 25 points, 25 rebounds and 5 steals in a league game.

To top it off, the game was on Davis’ birthday, now 31 years old. Only LeBron James scored more points than the center in the game: 29.

As a result, the Lakers’ 120-109 victory kept the Los Angeles team on the rise in the NBA. Now, the team is in ninth place in the Western Conference, in the play-in qualifying zone and with a real chance of securing a direct spot in the playoffs.

“We have to keep accumulating days, games. Don’t get upset about the details and the little things,” said Lakers coach Dervin Ham after the game.
