Real Madrid has agreed to extend the contract for another year with 34-year-old German midfielder Toni Kroos. The 2024/2025 season will be the player’s eleventh for the Spanish club.

As a result, Kroos is one of the most experienced in coach Carlo Ancelotti’s squad. The German player arrived at Real Madrid in July 2014, after winning the World Cup in Brazil. In almost 10 years in Spanish football, the midfielder won 21 titles, including four Champions Leagues.
The news of Kroos’ renewal with the Spanish club was initially reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano and confirmed by the newspaper “AS”. The German’s contract runs until June 2025, at the end of next season.

Toni Kroos was fundamental in one of the greatest midfield formations in Real Madrid’s history, alongside Modric and the Brazilian Casemiro, between 2015 and 2022.
Now, the veteran is one of the pillars of the merengue sector, where he plays with promising young players from European football, such as Camavinga, Tchouameni, Valverde and Bellingham.
