Jonas Vingegaard secures second place in stage six of the Tour de France

The athlete reported that he is satisfied with the position

With an excellent performance, during the Tour de France, last Thursday (06), Jonas Vingegaard won second place in the sixth stage of the competition, a few seconds behind Tadej Pogocar, who had his action contemplated by fans of the sport.

Questioned about the evolution in the race, after having had difficulties in the other stages, Tadej Pogocar analyzed his last performances and joked that he wants to be the next Mark Cavendish: “The performance that Jonas showed yesterday was incredible and when they started to pull Tourmalet today I was thinking that if it was like yesterday, we can pack up and go home”.

The trajectory of the sixth stage of this year’s Tour de France, has a 145 km stretch of mountain between Tarbes and Cauterets-Cambasques. The 2023 edition will be divided into eight phases and will pass through 11 cities that had never hosted the event. To follow the competition in the United States, Canada and Australia, it will be shown on NBC Sports, free of charge.
