“I am convinced that with God’s help we will overcome all obstacles. It’s definitely not over. Especially if it’s raining tomorrow, I can promise you it’s going to be interesting. Two more really difficult stages to go, I think the most difficult stage of this Tour will be tomorrow, so anything can happen. Anyone can have a bad day,” said the Emirates Team Emirates athlete.

Tadej Pogocar also reported details about stage 16 and that during the race, he didn’t feel very good: “I was still very solid, I was feeling an ok rhythm. It’s a big gap right now. I expected a smaller gap, I expected to be in yellow today, but that’s how it is today. We try to make a plan, it’s not easy to gain 2 minutes, but we’ll try”.
