Bengals beat Ramos and win first NFL game of the season

Less than two years after the decision that gave the Los Angeles Rams the title in the NFL, the Cincinnati Bengals hosted the LA franchise this Monday (25) night and, this time, came out on top by winning 19-16.

After two consecutive defeats, Joe Burrow’s Bengals achieved their first victory of the current season.

The start of the Cincinnati team’s first victory was not what the fans expected. This is because, for the third consecutive game in the new season, the franchise did not score points in the first quarter, and still saw the Rams take the lead with Brett Maher’s field goal.

In the second period, the home team reacted with two field goals and, even with Joe Burrow still down after his calf injury last week, they managed to equalize at half-time.

Back in the second half, the Bengals managed to open up a lead on the scoreboard. With that, the tiebreaker came from Joe Burrow. It was from the most expensive player in NFL history that the pass came to Joe Mixon to sew up the defense and score the first touchdown of the night.

With three points ahead and Joe Burrow recovered, the Bengals secured the franchise’s first triumph in the league and also gave fans new reasons to believe in a better outcome in the 2023/24 season.
