Tainá Hinckel and Peterson Crisanto win the 4th stage of the Dream Tour Maceió

This Sunday (24) was the day of the final decision of the 4th stage of the Vivo Dream Tour Maceió. Athletes from the Main Division of the Brazilian Surfing Confederation (CBSurf) competed on a sunny day at Trapiche da Barra beach.

Thus, in the women ‘s semifinals, Tainá Hinckel beat Larissa dos Santos and Laura Raupp beat Julia Duarte, thus forming a final with two young athletes from Santa Catarina.

The one who did best was Tainá Hinckel, achieving a total of 10.87, beating athlete Laura Raupp who finished her participation in the heat with 10.43. Tainá, in addition to being the champion of the 4th stage, is now the leader of the Vivo Dream Tour Maceió ranking, presented by Shell.

“This final was emotional and difficult because the heart raced, but I knew what I wanted, I went to the end and I never stopped believing in myself, that made me the champion”, said Tainá.

Meanwhile, in the men’s category, the semifinals were between Peterson Crisanto and Luan Wood, with Peterson winning and, subsequently, Weslley Dantas beating Gabriel Klaussner.

Wesley, championship leader, and Peterson, vice-leader, faced each other in the exciting final that defined the grand champion of the 4th stage of the Vivo Dream Tour Maceió. The 30 minutes of heat defined Peterson as champion, adding 16.67 points in total, Wesley became runner-up with a total of 10.23 points.

“Everyone saw that Wesley was the man of the event, he was surfing a lot, but I followed a strategy and got good waves and that’s it, I’m thrilled”, said champion Peterson.

The 4th stage of the Vivo Dream Tour Maceió ended on Sunday (24), but the last two stages will still be held in 2023 to decide the Brazilian titles of the season.

The fifth stage of the Dream Tour 2023 will be on Stella Maris beach, in Salvador, from November 14th to 20th.
