The 29th WNBA Draft took place on April 15, 2024, and it was the WNBA’s selection for the 2024 season. It took place after the 2023–24 NCAA Division I women’s basketball season. Fans could attend the draft for the first time since the 2016 WNBA Draft at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in Brooklyn, New York. At 7:30 p.m. EDT, it was shown exclusively on ESPN in the US and TSN1/3/4 in Canada.
Beginning with the 2024 WNBA Drafts, a number of female collegiate basketball stars, including Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, will pursue their basketball careers. The 12 teams in the league will choose 36 players from the three-round draft.
