As a result, according to the radio, a family member of Cancelo has a heart problem. For this reason, Barcelona’s medical department vetoed the player from the match – the full-back was not even listed, under the official justification of physical problems. The idea is to carry out tests to rule out any hereditary disease.
After the game, which ended in a 3-0 victory for Barcelona, striker Fermín dedicated the result to Cancelo and hinted that the full-back was experiencing a more serious problem.
