Rob Marshall is McLaren’s new technical director

Through social networks and the official website, last Tuesday (30), McLaren announced that Rob Marshall and three other professionals will assume the position of technical director from January, next year. The decision had already been disclosed previously, but the names were not informed.

Rob Marshall, after 17 years with Red Bull Racing (RBR) where he held the role of Director of Engineering, will be responsible for engineering and design in the technical sector with the support of Director Neil Houldey, and will work with the renowned names of Andrea Stella , Peter Prodromou and David Sanchez.

“I am delighted that Rob is joining McLaren. With more than 25 years working in motorsports, Rob comes to us with an abundance of expertise and experience, heightened by his time and history at RBR.
