The incidents in question have not been addressed, but probably have to do with Stroll’s furious behavior after qualifying. He failed to progress beyond the first phase, and when was back at the garage he was seen throwing the steering wheel out of the car, and shoving his trainer Henry Howe.

Stroll then gave an interview to F1, but only said six words to three questions, showing how disappointed he was. After the race on Sunday (8), he criticized the penalties he received for track limits violation and the extreme weather conditions. “It’s a little bit of a joke that they’re giving penalties for this, they [the stewards] don’t understand what Formula One is and what they’re putting us through”.

The Canadian driver finished outside the points, in 11th, after starting from 17th. His teammate, Fernando Alonso, finished sixth and is 136 points ahead of him in the championship standings.
