Chinese pioneering: Yibing Wu wins ATP Tour title

The achievement took place during a championship in the United States

Having his name marked in the history of his country, last Sunday (12), Yibing Wu received the first title of winner of the ATP Tour during the tennis championship in Dallas, in the United States. The player surprised everyone with an electrifying match against his rival John Isner, considered one of the best in the world.

When interviewed, the Chinese said that the victory means a lot to his country: “It’s not just about winning the title, I think it’s more about me making history personally and also for the country. That’s huge for the next generation. For me, I need to keep moving forward, keep my body healthy. I’m sure there’s more to come”.
