According to The Athletic website, due to the allegations of several professionals who worked at the University of Cincinnati accused Mike Bohn, who until then was the college’s athletic director, of having had professional misconduct, prejudice and for creating an extremely toxic work environment.
The investigation analyzed the Office of Equal Opportunity and Office of Gender Access, Equity and Inclusion, in which Mike Bohn also served and after six months, the analysis found evidence related to violations of University of Cincinnati policy.
There is also a second investigation in which it addresses a review of “the climate and culture of the athletics department as a whole”. Again, other employees affirmed the “lack of diversity in senior leadership roles and in recruiting minorities into senior roles.” Mike Bohn was also accused of making comments about the physical appearance of the team he was working with at the time. The technician’s advisory so far has not commented.
