USA Cycling Pro Road Nationals return to Tennessee with competitions through Sunday

The event will bring together American athletes for the matches

From next Thursday (22nd) to Sunday (25th), the National Championship, USA Cycling Pro Road Nationals, an event that brings together American cyclists and that is part of the World Tour and ProTour calendar, will return to Knoxville, Tennessee, in the month of June. The event starts with Time Trial, then criterium races and ending the competition with street races.

“It has been an incredible achievement and an honor to host USA Cycling since 2017. This will be the last under our current agreement and we will welcome riders back in the future. We have become very close with USA Cycling and look forward to seeing the exciting 2023 event here in Knoxville,” said Visit Knoxville President Kim Bumpas.

The competition will feature illustrious athletes who are increasingly standing out in professional sports and this time, they will be able to win the Stars and Stripes shirt award. Amber Neben, Chloe Dygert, Lauren Stephens and Taylor Knibb are among the names that will compete in the women’s races. The men’s matches featured Zach Gregg, Stephen Vogel, Tyler Stites, Will Barta and Brandon McNulty.

Knoxville has hosted world-class cyclists and USA Cycling for seven years. This year marks the final opportunity to witness riders conquering Sherrod Rd. Hill.
