“To be honest, I completely understand the skepticism. We have to be skeptical because of what happened in the past. Otherwise it would happen again. As such, I fully understand all the questions we receive about this. The only thing I can say is that I’m not taking anything, but to be honest I’m glad there’s a bit of skepticism about it“, said the athlete.

The cyclist also compared his performance in last year’s competition with this year’s Tour de France and stated that he is quite happy with the result. “I’m always confident in myself, I believed in our plan, we still believe in it and we’re still looking forward to next week as well,” he said. Jonas Vingegaard reported that, in addition to food, material and training, technological and scientific advances helped improve matches.
