Messi shines as Inter Miami beats Los Angeles FC in MLS

Inter Miami beat Los Angeles FC 3-1, this Sunday night (3), at BMO Stadium in LA, for the 30th round of Major League Soccer (MLS). The Argentinean ace did not score but provided two assists, for goals by Alba and Campana. Facundo Farias also scored for the Florida team, while Hollingshead scored for the hosts.

This result put Inter Miami in the penultimate position of the Eastern Conference of MLS, with 25 points, 8 less than the first team that can advance to the competition’s playoffs.

It is good to remember that Inter Miami is still undefeated since Lionel Messi arrived at the club in mid-July. Meanwhile, LAFC is third in the Western Conference with 40 points.

On another note, the game featured a stadium audience full of celebrities like Prince Harry, LAFC co-owner Will Ferrell, Leonardo DiCaprio, Selena Gomez, Owen Wilson, Mario Lopez, and Edward Norton among others who were in attendance to see Leo Messi.

Now the Argentinian is heading to his country where he will be part of Argentina’s World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador on Thursday and then Bolivia five days later.
