This Monday (11), Aaron Rodgers made his debut with the New York Jets, but only after his fourth play, he was carted off the field for an ankle injury. The game was against the Buffalo Bills.

The injury occurred during the first drive in the first quarter, and he was sacked by edge rusher Leonard Floyd. He got looked in the blue medical tent on the sidelines, and then taken to the locker room, missing the rest of the game.

In the postgame news conference, the Jets head coach Robert Saleh said that they were concerned about his achilles tendon. “MRI’s probably going to confirm what we think is already going to happen with his Achilles, so prayers tonight. But, it’s not good.”. Later the team posted on social media that his X-rays for fracture were negative.
Rodgers spent 18 seasons with Green Bay Packers, leading the team to a 31-25 victory in Super Bowl XLV in 2011. He also won MVP awards in 2011, 2014, 2020 and 2021.
