This Wednesday (27), Novak Djokovic played in the Ryder Cup celebrity all-star match in Rome, and impressed with a victory.

Djokovic swapped his tennis racket for golf clubs to participate in the event at Marco Simone Golf Club. He partnered Kirk Popert, G4D Tour (golf for disabled) star, and got a 3-1 win over F1 driver Carlos Sainz and G4D golfer Tommaso Perrino, in one of three matches taking place across the course.

Djokovic and Popert played for Scottish golfer Colin Montgomerie’s team, Team Monty. They were also joined by former Welsh footballer Gareth Bale. The team claimed a 7-4 victory over Team Pavin, as Bale and Montgomerie won 2-1 against American golfer Corey Pavin and former Ukrainian footballer Andriy Shevchenko.
The other match occurred between content creator Garett Hilbert and surfer Leonardo Firoavanti as Team Monty and actress Kathryn Newton and NFL star Victor Cruz as Team Pavin. It finished 2-2.
