In the latest episode of “Let’s Go! with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray” podcast, released on October 9, Brady denied the possibility. The topic came up when his guest, YoutTuber Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson joked saying that his appearances numbers would be better if Brady says he was coming out of retirement.

“I am not coming out of retirement”, responded Brady. Donaldson said that they could still tease the episode, previewing the phrase with the “not” removed, and Brady responded that this would spark a backlash in his family.

“I can’t tease that. My parents would call, my kids would call. They’d kill me. I wouldn’t be around by tonight … As I said, you’re only allowed one un-retirement. And I’ve used it up.” Jim Gray told Donaldson that Brady “already did that once”, talking about the first time he came out of retirement.

Brady retired in 2021, but announced his comeback with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a third season two months later. He explained in the interview that now he is spending time with his kids and added “As I said, you’re only allowed one un-retirement. And I’ve used it up”.
