49ers running back Christian McCaffrey is expected to play the next match of the team, after suffering an injury.

McCaffrey suffered an oblique injury in the loss to the Brown’s on Sunday 15, but is listed as questionable for the game against the Vikings this Monday (23). He returned to practice on Saturday (21), after missing two previous workouts, and said afterwards he felt “great”.

Multiple sources already reported that McCaffrey is expected to play in Minnesota. The running back would be a good thing for the 49ers, as they are missing wide receiver Deebo Samuel, ruled out for a shoulder injury, and left tackle Trent Willians, listed as doubtful with an ankle injury.

McCaffrey hasn’t missed a game since he was acquired by the 49ers from the Carolina Panthers in October 2022. He is trying to extend his streak of consecutive games (including the playoffs) with a touchdown to 16, which would be the second-longest streak in NFL history, behind only Lenny Moore.
