Although he acknowledged that these actions failed to stop the attacks carried out by the group that is now recognized as a terrorist in the Red Sea.

As a result, also this Thursday, the United States carried out the fifth attack against the Houthi in Yemen in a week. According to the American Central Command, the target was a small number of anti-ship missiles that were preparing for launch.

It is worth remembering that on Wednesday (17), the US reclassified the Houthi as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist entity.

“These attacks are a clear example of terrorism, a violation of international law and a major threat to lives and global commerce, putting the provision of humanitarian assistance at risk,” a senior US government official said on Tuesday (16).
