Being victorious in another competition, last Sunday (12), Tadej Pogacar won first place in Paris-Nice. The cyclist made an unbeatable trajectory during the eight days of stages, mainly on the Promenade des Anglais, which led to the great success of the edition. Second and third place went to Jonas Vingegaard and David Gaudu.

“It’s always been my dream to win Paris-Nice and now I’ve done it, it’s incredible. They say offense is the best defense. I know these roads a lot, I do a lot of training done here. I knew exactly where my legs were going on the final climb and how much it could cost to get to the top. I got really good with math today, I calculated really well,” said Tadej Pogacar.

During the press conference, the cyclist compared his performance last year with this year: “Last year, at that time, I was very strong. I was out of altitude and this year without altitude in the first few months of the season, so I still have to improve a bit. Not a lot”. In 2023, in addition to the Paris-Nice competition, the athlete won Jaén Paraiso Interior and Ruta del Sol.
