This Friday (29), ESPN reporter Adrian Wojnarowski posted that the NBA made an important decision involving former San Antonio Spurs guard Joshua Primo.

Josh was suspended four games for what the league called “behavior detrimental to the league.” The punishment was imposed after a league-led investigation concluded that Primo “engaged in inappropriate and offensive behavior by exposing himself to women.”
These problems with the point guard with the Spurs had an unpleasant chapter at the beginning of last season, when a former team psychologist alleged that the player had exposed himself to her on a few occasions.

The psychologist’s lawyer, Tony Buzbee, revealed that another woman also claimed to have been a victim of undue exposure by the player. As a result, a lawsuit was filed against Primo and Spurs themselves, which was settled out of court.
In its official statement, the NBA highlighted that although Primo claimed his behavior was unintentional, the league’s investigation found no evidence that he engaged in any sexual conduct or other misconduct beyond the brief exposures.
“Primo alleges that his behavior was unintentional, and the league found no evidence that he engaged in any sexual behavior or other misconduct beyond these brief exposures. However, this behavior does not meet league standards and justifies discipline,” the NBA said.
However, the league emphasized that this behavior does not meet established standards and therefore warrants discipline. Since his release from the Spurs, Primo has not had the opportunity to play in the NBA and remains without a contract.
