NBA is eyeing basketball’s new promise

The Canadian is in the Guinness Book of Records as the tallest young man in the world

Recently, on social networks, in a video, Oliver Rioux generated great repercussions due to his size and the possibility of being the newest promise in basketball. The 2.28-meter young man when he was just 13 years old had caught the attention of NBA players Steph Curry and Joel Embiid in 2019, and now, at 16 years old, he is preparing to perfect himself as a new star in the sport.

With the goal of progressing even further in basketball, Oliver Rioux signed the contract with the boarding school specializing in the development of teenage athletes, IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. In addition, he entered the Guinness Book as the tallest young man in the world.

In interviews with the ABC channel, Oliver explains that his growth led his parents to renovate the roof of their house “I started growing faster and faster when I was 10 or 11 years old.
