Rider Shirin Van Anrooij overtook US X20 Trofee champion Clara Honsinger to win the women’s competition. The athlete was highly praised for her performance in the dispute that took place in the coastal city of Koksijde, Belgium, in front of the challenging sands.

At the end of the race, the athlete was proud of her performance, âlast year, during the World Cup, when I was fourth, I really set a goal in this race to try to win my first World Cup. Then it changed to not being the World Cup anymore, but it’s such a special race and it’s super cool to win this one.”

On the podium in the first places were the Dutch Fem van Empel, Lucinda Brand, Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado. The champion currently participates in the UCI Womenâs WorldTeam and won the young rider classification at the Tour de France Femmes last year.
