The National Cycling League (NCL) was developed last year by Paris Wallace, L39ION Reed McAlvin and Rob Weir, as “America’s Newest Professional League Sport”, which will be established this year with 12 teams. Recently, NCL announced that the Miami Nights and Denver Disruptors will be present in the upcoming events.

âThe Denver Disruptors and Miami Nights are the beginning of a revolution in American professional cycling. There is a lot of untapped talent in cycling and we have rewritten the team model to showcase top-notch professionals and provide a pathway to success for our development riders,â said NCL Vice President of Teams and Athletes Reed McCalvin.

The teams will be composed of eight women and eight men, the Disruptors will be coordinated by Sergio Henao and Leah Kirchmann and the Miami Nights by professionals Sebastian Alexandre, Clever Martinez and Andrea Cyr. The NCL Crit Racing Tour competition will have a $1 million prize pool.
