The athlete also commented on the close dispute with Tadej Pogocar, who was close to leading the competition at all times: “It was a long journey, but it also went by very quickly. We run every day and one day leads to another. It was a super tough race and a super good fight between me and Tadej. I liked everything”.

With the consecutive victory of the cyclist, Denmark surpasses the number of victories that was led by Slovenia. Now, all the points achieved over the 21 stages in the competition will be used for the classification of the Olympic Games in Paris, next year.
