F1 undergoes changes and will have 23 races in the new season

The last phase would be in Shanghai but the Covid-19 outbreak prevented the realization

This week, it was announced that Formula 1, instead of having 24 stages, will only have 23. The change was due to the Covid-19 pandemic that has aggressively affected China and, consequently, the location that would be the base for the last stage of the race in Shanghai. The announcement was made through social networks.

The low adherence of vaccines in the elderly population, the government’s refusal to import foreign immunizers and the number of deaths and hospitalizations has been alerting society about the risks of the disease.

It is already the fourth time that the Grand Prix undergoes modifications, the FIA team opted for other places to make the replacement, however, nothing was done. The next season of the race will start on March 5th in Bahrain and conclude on November 26th in Abu Dhabi.
