This week, through the official website, the “Paris-Nice 2023” competition released its complete calendar with more details on the matches starting on March 5th until March 13th. The 81st edition will start in La Verrière, France, and will end with the route passing by the Promenade des Anglais, in Nice.

The competition features three initial stages that are essential for a good overall ranking, being the first race to have a 32.3 km time trial since 1993 and some summits that are present in categories four and seven. For the first few days, there was a change of direction with new routes passing through Bazainville to Fontainebleau.

The climbs will be on stages four and five passing through La Loges des Gardes, near a ski resort in the Massif Central and through Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux. The final phase, which will select the winner, will pass along the seafront of Nice, on the Promenade des Anglais, where cyclists will also tackle the Col d’Eze climb.
