Amstel Gold Race 2023 brings together important names on cycling

Next Sunday (16th), in Holland, the next competitions that are part of the UCI calendar will be held, Amstel Gold Race and Amstel Gold Race Ladies Edition that will pass through Limburg and Wallonia. The event that represents the biggest race of the season in the country, will receive several important names in the sport such as Tom Pidcock, Tadej Pogocar, Richard Carapaz, among others.

This year, the Amstel Gold Race route will start in Maastricht, passing through the center of the Markt and the Vrijthof. The competition will have a total of 33 climbs on a 253.6 km route, an extra loop towards Sittard-Geleen and then Cauberg.

The Amstel Gold Race Ladies Edition will be in the same location, but will have new challenges with 28 km more than last year’s edition, totaling 156 km, with 21 climbs. At the beginning of the path there will be eight climbs through Limburg, and after that, you will pass over 13 more hills of the Geulhemmerberg, Bemelergerg and Cauberg climbs.
