“Yes, I heard that. I couldn’t help but shake my head. The rumors don’t make sense. Look, I don’t know who started this, maybe it was some people, but I’ll be here next year. I will not end my career”, said the pilot about the rumors.

Speculations gained strength when journalist Ben Anderson, on the podcast “The Race”, stated that he had heard about the alleged change in the pilot’s career and that the information would have become more evident when it was revealed that Lance Stroll would not race with Fernando Alonso.
The professional explained the speculations: “So if there was a meeting with the team in theory, several names could be discussed. Alex Albon, Yuki Tsunoda, have been mentioned before that Honda will definitely consider. Not even Oscar Piastri can be left out, as he is doing very well as rookies”.
Lance Stroll’s career change may indicate that Formula 1 sponsors cannot see the enthusiasm to reach the level of a double world champion, as is his new partner Fernando Alonso. In addition, the fact that the pilot is the son of Lawrence Stroll leaves doubts about the commitment of his profession.
