The Philadelphia Eagles reached their second victory of the NFL season. On Thursday night (14), at Lincoln Financial Field, in Philadelphia, the home team took advantage of offensive mistakes by the Minnesota Vikings and won 34 to 28. The visiting team lost for the second straight round in the competition.

The first quarter was not marked by many emotions. The Philadelphia team started better, but not enough to score a touchdown. Even so, with a field goal from kicker Jake Elliott, who kicked well and put Philadelphia ahead, 3-0.
Early in the second half, a fourth Vikings fumble virtually sealed the score, as the Eagles scored two consecutive touchdowns.

The visiting team even attempted a reaction and had the ball to launch a ‘Hail Mary’ at the end of the match, but the team did not have the strength to come back.
The highlights of the game for the Philadelphia Eagles were running back D’Andre Swift, with 175 rushing yards and a touchdown, and wide receiver DeVonta Smith, author of a touchdown and 131 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, despite the loss, quarterback Kirk Cousins threw for 364 yards and four touchdowns. Also notable were wide receiver Justin Jefferson, with 159 yards, and tight end T.J. Hockenson, author of two touchdowns.
The two teams return to the field in Week 3 of the NFL. On Sunday (24), the Minnesota Vikings host the Los Angeles Chargers. On Monday (25), the Philadelphia Eagles visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
