Lauren Molengraaf signs deal with three different teams

Considered a promise to professional sport at just 17 years old, last Wednesday (20), through social networks and official websites, Lauren Molengraaf announced that she signed new agreements with the FDJ- SUEZ, Intermarché-Circus-Wanty and Lapierre teams -Mavic Unity.

The first team, FDJ-SUEZ, will be for its participation in the women’s teams that will compete in the World Tour and the second two, Intermarché-Circus-Wanty and Lapierre-Mavic Unity, are related to cyclocross and mountain biking. All three contracts have a term until the end of 2025, and can be renewed.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity to join the Women’s World Team, a great team like FDJ-SUEZ. Furthermore, the team gives me the freedom to combine three disciplines. I can count on your full support to prepare me for all my goals,” said Lauren Molengraaf.

The cyclist stated that she is very satisfied with the confidence that the three teams are placing in her career. The athlete is part of a generation that has demonstrated excellent performance with great results in professional competition rankings and, as a result, has gained prominence in its career.

According to Jean-François Bourlart, Lauren Molengraaf impressed from her first appearance: “During her first year on the team, Lauren Molengraaf showed that she is one of the most talented athletes of her generation. She is a complete athlete, about whom we are convinced that she has the potential to grow at the highest level in these three disciplines.”

The athlete concluded the statement: “For my first year in the U23 category, I have the ambition to distinguish myself in this category next winter, with the European and World Championships as my main objective”.
