49ers beat Giants to third win of NFL season

The San Francisco 49ers hosted, this Thursday (21), the New York Giants to open Week 3 of the 2023 NFL season, and secured their third victory of the season with a comfortable 30-12.

After a difficult start, the Californian team took control of the match in the second quarter and quickly gained an advantage, going into the break with a 17-6 lead.

In this game, running back Christian McCaffrey reached 5,000 career rushing yards. The player reached the milestone in 78 matches.

McCaffrey finished the game with 18 carries for 85 yards and a touchdown, as well as five catches for 34 yards. Another highlight of the San Francisco team was Deebo Samuel.

The receiver recorded six receptions for 129 yards and a touchdown. In addition to the two, QB Brock Purdy had another safe game and recorded 25/37 passes for 310 yards and two touchdowns.
