The 12 players with holes still to complete will play on Friday (13), before the second round. Thompson is in the running to make a weekend cut if she maintains just like her start. She will resume playing one shot under the cut line.

The American golfer is an 11-time winner on the LPGA Tour, and is just the seventh woman to play the PGA Tour. She is also the first woman in five years to play in the event at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas, as she received a sponsor’s invitation to compete.
