Thus, the matches will be held before the last FIFA date of 2023. With the Argentine national team, Messi has commitments on the 16th and 21st of November, against Uruguay at home and Brazil away, respectively.

This Tuesday (17), the current world champions face Peru in the South American qualifiers. Due to Inter Miami’s inactive period in MLS, there was speculation about Messi’s short loan to Barcelona or Saudi clubs, something ruled out at the moment.

The North American club also has its sights set on a friendly match against Newell’s Old Boys, the Argentine star’s childhood club.

Before these friendlies, Inter Miami played the last two games of the MLS regular season, both against Charlotte FC, next Wednesday (18) and also on Saturday (21).
