“Everyone, including me, can grow together with young drivers. I am growing every year, despite my age. It’s true that I like to help but I also like to learn and improve. I’ve been a professional for around 17 years and I’m still as excited now as I was 15 years ago, when cycling was everything to me,” said Rui Costa about his new team.

The former cyclist continued commenting on the acquisition: “The objective is to keep adding, keep winning. Starting this season winning and ending it winning, this brings extra motivation for next year. I want to continue in the same direction. That’s my goal.”
Teammate, Jonathan Vaughters, stated that he was satisfied and excited about the agreement with the former cyclist, reporting that his trajectory could help with mentoring to give more stimulus, balance and determination to the team, as well as stability for new strategies to the next year.
EF Education-EasyPost shared new names that will be on the team next year such as Markel Beloki, Lukas Nerukar, Jack Rootkin-Gray, Darren Rafferty, Archie Ryan, Jardi Christiaan van der Lee, and the contract renewal with Ben Healy until the year 2026. Magnus Cort and Jens Keukeleire leave the team.
