According to a new study carried out and published by the scientific journal Nature Communications, in the United Kingdom, in which more than 90 thousand men and women were used, the best time to practice exercises is in the afternoon, avoiding the risk of premature death.

During the study, the collaborators wore trackers so that a breakdown could be made based on frequency, timing of exercise, and also checked mortality records for up to seven years after people joined the health company Biobank, comparing movement patterns. and of death.

One of the highlighted data was that men and women who practiced exercise constantly lived longer than people who rarely practiced any sport, regardless of the time of day. However, what most caught the attention of the researchers was that the times chosen by the collaborators in the afternoon, between 11 am and 5 pm, statistically coincided with the low probability of people suffering a heart attack.

The study concluded that the volunteers who opted for exercises in the afternoon were men and the elderly. In addition to deducing that any schedule of sports practice “may have the potential to maximize the benefits of daily physical activity for health”.
