According to next year’s British National National Road Series calendar, the men’s and women’s competitions will be smaller than those of the year 2022. For cyclists, there will be only four races which are Rapha Lincoln Grand Prix, Grand Prix Lancaster, Rydedale Grasscrete Grand Prix and the Beaumont Trophy. As for the athletes, there will be a total of five races instead of seven.

Upon learning of the information, the last winner of the competition in 2022, Robert Scott, lamented that the competition is smaller, “it is a shame for all the teams and their sponsors who are putting money into them to make, supposedly, the biggest races in the Kingdom United. It seems to be decreasing again.”

British National Road has been taking place since 1946 in the United Kingdom, bringing together several athletes and with great victories such as Dave Bedwell, Rum Coe, Albert Hitchen, Colin Lewis, Conor Swift and Ben Swift, winners of the 2018 and 2019 competition.
