Mads Pederson commented on his victory and what his goals are for the upcoming races: “We didn’t know this morning if it was going to be an interval or a sprint. But it looked like the sprint teams didn’t want it to be a break so we stayed calm and the boys had a perfect day of preparation and even with the long sprint I still had legs to finish. When we passed I knew I had won but man it was a long race and that kick on the climb was so painful”.
