Naomi Osaka reveals pregnancy and will be out of the 2023 tennis season

After rumors that Naomi Osaka would not participate in the open tennis championship in Australia, yesterday (11), through social networks, in a publication, the athlete announced that she is pregnant and that she will return to the courts only in 2024 and left her followers to madness with the news.

“The last few years have been interesting to say the least, but I think it’s the most challenging times in life that can be the most fun. These few months away from the sport have really given me a newfound love and appreciation for the game I’ve dedicated my life to.” said the player.

In her text, Naomi Osaka said she was very happy with the news and thanked her fans for their support, “I realize that life is so short and I don’t take any moment for granted, every day is a new blessing and adventure. I know I have a lot to look forward to in the future, one thing I’m looking forward to is my son watching one of my matches and saying to someone, ‘she’s my mom’, haha. 2023 will be a year full of lessons for me and I hope to see you at the beginning of the next one because I will be at Aus 2024. I love you all infinitely”.
