The cycling competition that took place in Australia, Tour Down Under, had its great champion last Sunday (22). Jay Vine had his impeccable performance in the final stage, becoming the ninth Australian to win the dispute since 2019, ending the match with an 11-second advantage over Simon Yates.

When asked about the Tour Down Under, Jay Vine said that he is proud of his potential and happy with the victory, “it’s amazing to be here wearing the winner’s jersey. It was a busy day and our team had to be on their toes at all times”.

Michael Mathews was the winner in the points classification, while the mountains were by Mikkel Honores. The best young man chosen was Magnus Sheffield, aged 20, who finished the competition in fourth place overall, behind Pello Bilbao.
