Last Tuesday (22), through social networks and official vehicles, Lotto-Dstny confirmed that the sporting director, Allan Davis, had his bond terminated after numerous accusations of harassment on neighboring networks. The information was also reported and verified by the Belgian news agency, RTBF.

“Allan Davis is no longer employed by Lotto Dstny. The collaboration with the Australian sports director has recently ended. Without going into details, it was decided to stop collaborating with Allan. Lotto Dstny has its own values and standards that we apply in our daily work and in the team. We have a line we don’t deviate from and we require our employees to stick to it. We prioritized the well-being and integrity of our team and therefore further collaboration was impossible,” said Stephane Heulot, CEO of the team.

In June, a woman accused Allan Davis of sending unsolicited images and content through direct messages on a social network. In a statement, the girl stated that she had responded to a comment from the sporting director with the intention of getting a job, however, the coach began to behave badly in social media, putting the woman in an uncomfortable and intimidating situation.
When the information against Allan Davis came to light, the sporting director stayed away from the Tour de France while Lotto-Dstny analyzed the statements and what would be the appropriate measures. Shortly after the accusations, the professional apologized for what happened.
“I deeply regret the way I behaved and the impact it had on the person involved. I acknowledge that our multiple direct message interactions in May and June 2023 touched on both personal and professional matters. We discussed topics related to relationships, family and work, and I understand that at times my words and actions were inappropriate. I didn’t consider the consequences of my behavior, and for that, I’m sorry,” said Allan Davis.
