This past week, Olympic champion Anna Kiesenhofer joined the Israel-Premier Tech-Roland women’s team. The objective of the team and the athlete is to compete in the Tour de France Femmes, and the most diverse races of the women’s WorldTour, guaranteeing the first place on the podium.

“I am delighted to be joining Israel-Premier Tech Roland. The environment and equipment are ideal for me to perform at my best in some of the most important races on the WWT calendar. In particular, I am looking to target the Tour de France and other races of hard stages”, said the Olympic athlete.

Israel-Premier Tech-Roland manager Ruben Contreras provided further details of the rider’s contract signing: “Anna is extremely talented and races with courage, as we saw with her win in Tokyo, and again last year when she lost narrowly won the stage at the Ceratizit Challenge de La Vuelta. She will be a great addition to the team and will help us as we continue our development on the Women’s WorldTour.”
