Now it’s for real: Tom Brady announces retirement

The quarterback has decided that he will no longer participate in NFL games

Wednesday — February 1st — Tom Brady announced his definitive retirement from NFL, the quarterback is leaving Tampa Bay Buccaneers. There is no way back from the decison and Tom said: “is for good”.

A year ago the player had decided to stop, but a month later he went back. This time, in a video published on Instagram, Tom said that this time it’s for real. The player thanked the family and the team for the good moments he experienced all this years.

“Good morning, guys. I’ll get to the point right away. I’m retiring. For good, I know the process was a pretty big deal last time, so when I woke up this morning, I figured I’d just press record, and I’d let you guys know first. It won’t be long-winded.“

In sequence, along with the video, the American also published photos with family, friends and the team. At age 45, the quarterback is leaving the league after 23 seasons and seven Super Bowl titles.
