USA: NBC Sports and Peacock to broadcast the Tour de France live

The contract is established until the end of 2029

The authorities of the platforms NBC Sports and Peacock confirmed that they will have exclusive rights to the complete transmission of the Tour de France, which takes place from 1 to 23 July this year. The renewal of the specific contract for the sports channel will run until 2029, and for the online platform it will start next year, in 2024.

According to Jon Miller, President of Acquisitions and Partnerships, NBC Sports, it is an honor to once again have the opportunity to broadcast one of cycling’s greatest championships: “With the Tour de France and our extensive cycling portfolio, we are proud to continue as the home of sport in the United States, as we continue to reinforce Peacock’s best lineup of live sports programming.”

In 2024, daily coverage on the Peacock platform will feature pre- and post-race studio shows, full stage replays, highlights, interviews and more. Already this year, NBC Sports will reproduce several sports championships from the Amaury Sport Organization (ASO) such as Vuelta a España, Tour de France Femmes, Paris-Roubaix, Paris Tours and Flèche Wallonne.
