Jumbo-Visma Manager seeks new sponsors for 2024

There are rumors that the supermarket chain is just a co-sponsor

Recently, rumors emerged that the sponsorship of the Jumbo-Visma team would undergo a certain change as the contracts that are in force would end next year. In response, to the newspaper Algemeen Dagblad, the supermarket chain company in the Netherlands, Jumbo, informed that it will not stop supporting the sport, however, they are analyzing becoming co-sponsors.

At the same time, team manager Richard Plugge announced that Jumbo-Visma is looking for a bigger, multinational sponsor to help their project grow and thus allow the team to have great victories in the coming years and seasons. There are also chances that Visma, a software company in Europe, will take over from partner company Jumbo.

“This project will continue. Together, with Jumbo and Visma, we are looking at how we are going to approach the future. But we can go on. There are no concerns, there is no reason to panic. We have more partners than just Jumbo. We hope to continue like this for years to come,” said Richard Plugge, Jumbo-Visma team manager.
